Following a recent decision by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, a film week will be held in the capital city of Ha Noi and the central city of Da Nang from November 10-16 to celebrate the 22nd Viet Nam Film Festival.

About 30 films will be screened during the week, including ‘Bang chung vo hinh’ (Invisible Evidence), ‘Bo gia’ (Dad, I’m sorry), ‘Gai gia lam chieu V’ (Camellia Sisters), ‘Kieu’, and ‘Mat biec’ (Dreamy Eyes).

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has assigned the Cinema Department to coordinate with the National Cinema Centre, the Da Nang Department of Culture and Sports and other relevant agencies to make preparations for this event.

The 22nd Viet Nam Film Festival will take place from November 18-20 in Thua Thien-Hue Province. This will be the first time the Viet Nam Film Festival is held in virtual form. The biennial event aims to honour movies and artists during the development of the film industry.

The forthcoming festival will introduce 128 films by 42 units, including 26 feature films, 56 documentaries, 15 science films, and 31 cartoons.
