Vietnamese player named AFC'S NEOM Future Stars
Nguyen Tien Linh of Vietnam has won the Asian Football Confederation (AFC)’s recent vote for NEOM’s Future Stars of Matchday Three of the 2022 FIFA World Cup Asian qualifiers.

The vote considered Linh and Zhang Yuning of China.
Announcing the winning of Linh, the AFC wrote on its official page that “the 23 year old forward put on an incredible performance, scoring for Viet Nam in one of the most exciting fixtures of the week.”
As part of the ongoing qualifiers, Vietnam met China on October 7 night (local time) in Dubai, the (UAE). During the match, Linh owned one goal, three shots on target, and an accurate pass rate of 86.7 percent.
So far, in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers, the striker has scored six goals for the Vietnamese team, including five in the 2nd qualifying round and one in the final qualifying round.
After China, on October 12, Viet Nam will take on Oman.
