Awards ceremony for design contest for Viettel Da Nang building to take place this month

The awards ceremony for a contest to seek the best architectural ideas for the construction of the Viettel Da Nang building is set to take place in the city this month, according to a spokesperson for the Viet Nam Military Industry-Telecoms Group (Viettel).

The contest is open to domestic and foreign individuals and organisations that are architectural design consultants or construction planners.

The ‘Viettel Da Nang Building’ project will cover an area of 10,765m2 on the A1-1 land lot on the northern side of the 2 September Peace Monument in Hoa Cuong Bac Ward, Hai Chau District.

The project is expected to consist of two office and commercial service towers. Specifically, the 20- storey-plus- 2-basement tower A, with a construction area of 5,500m2 and a total gross internal floor area of nearly 40,000m2, will be the headquarters and working offices for Viettel and its affiliated units. Meanwhile, tower B, which is expected to be deployed in the future, will be built on an area of 5,265m2.
