The Da Nang Department of Culture and Sports has just launched the Children's Fine Arts Festival 2021 for elementary and middle school students across the city.

The drawing contest is being held in an online form with the following themes: the spring and 12 zodiac animals, feelings and thoughts about the spring, the new year and Tet, images of the city's works, activities and events showing the development and renewal of richer, more beautiful, peaceful, civilized and modern city

Under the rules, paintings must be painted on A3 size paper with optional colours. Contestants send their works by post or directly to the Da Nang Museum of Fine Arts at 78 Le Duan, Hai Chau District from November 17 - 17.

The special prize for the contest and other prizes will be awarded according to the elementary and middle schools, including two first, four second and six third and 10 consolation prizes.

The winning works will be awarded and displayed at the exhibition ‘New Spring - New Works’ made by the Da Nang Fine Arts Association on the occasion of welcoming the new Spring of 2022 and the 25th anniversary of the city’s recognition as a centrally-governed city on 1 January 1997.

As planned, the exhibition ‘New Spring - New Works’ will be opened on December 25 at the Da Nang Fine Arts Museum and it is slated to run until February 20, 2022.
