The VN Da Thanh Table Tennis Club officially made its debut on Friday in Da Nang.

The intention of the club is to create a healthy playground for table tennis players, and promote the development of the local table tennis sector, thereby creating a momentum for the development of professional table tennis in the city, and in Central Viet Nam as a whole.

The VN Da Thanh Table Tennis Club is a member of the Viet Nam Table Tennis Federation, so it will be allowed to participate in national and international-level tournaments.

On this occasion, the VN-Da Thanh Group and the Sports Centre under the University of Da Nang entered into a comprehensive cooperation agreement on developing the table tennis movement in the city.

Under the agreement, the two sides will join their efforts to organise friendly table tennis tournaments, as well as support each other in terms of training and competition facilities.

Heed will be paid to strengthening the exchanges of table tennis coaches to improve the efficiency of professional athlete training work, hereby significantly contributing to the development of the city's table tennis movement.
