A musical programme took place at the south east bank of the Rong (Dragon) Bridge on the evening of January 31, the 29^th day of the 12^th lunar month, to ring in the Lunar New Year's Eve.

A 'bai choi' performance

Visitors to the Da Nang Culture and Cinemal Centre-hosted programme will have the opportunity to immerse themselves into the melodies of traditional Vietnamese musical instruments, traditional folk music, and ‘bai choi’ (singing while acting as playing cards).

The programme will take place at 7:00pm daily from January 31 to February 3.

The event aims to preserve and promote the value of ‘bai choi’, a time-honoured traditional folk arts form, as well as promote the culture of Da Nang and enrich spiritual life of locals during the Tet Festival.
