Young Fine Arts Festival 2022 kicked off

The Vietnamese Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has issued a notice on the organization of the Young Fine Arts Festival 2022.

The event is organized by the Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibition Department and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with the Viet Nam Fine Arts Association.

From 2022 onwards, the Festival will be held every 2 years to honour the creative achievements of young Vietnamese artists in the construction and development of Viet Nam's fine arts.

Along with that, this event offers an opportunity for young artists to show their artistic creativity and introduce their new art works to the public, facilitates mutual exchange of professional experiences amongst them and help them expresses their own views on contemporary life through their lenses with the diversification of materials.

The biannual Festival serves as a playground for artists including painters and sculptors aged 18 - 35.

The event is expected to attract a large volume of works, including paintings, graphic works, sculptures, reliefs, installations, video art pieces and performance arts.

In particular, works imbued with humanity and positive reflection of social life and high aesthetics are highly recommended.
