Organised by the municipal Music Association, the programme was considered to be a bridge connecting music lovers in the city, thereby contributing to enriching the spiritual life of local people, and promoting the beautiful images of Da Nang through music products.
Visitors to the programme immersed themselves in youthful and vibrant melodies of 15 songs. The performances by local talented artistes and children from the Da Nang Children's Palace praised the national glorious revolutionary traditions, and outstanding achievements gained by the Party Committee, government and people of Da Nang during its cause of construction and development, as well as reflected the dynamic growth of the city in recent years.
On the evening of the same day, the Nguyen Hien Dinh Tuong Theatre hosted a general art programme to celebrate the 47th anniversary of the city's liberation at a public park on the eastern side of the Tran Thi Ly Bridge.
The show featured a total of 11 musical performances of various genres, namely tuong (classical drama), solo and group performances on traditional musical instruments, and folk dances.
The general art programme is part of a series of cultural and festive activities on both sides of the Han River, aimed at promoting traditional arts in Da Nang and gradually bringing the city back to normal life.
The similar programme is slated to be held at 155 Phan Chau Trinh in Hai Chau District on March 29 evening in order to serve the entertainment needs of locals and visitors.
