At a press conference on Monday in Da Nang it was announced that the finale of the Miss Peace Viet Nam 2022 is scheduled to take place in the city on September 11.

The beauty pageant’s preliminary rounds are underway in all the Northern, Central and Southern Viet Nam till the end of July. The semi-final round will be held on September 3.

Hosted by the Minh Khang Vietnam Trading and Service Co., Ltd, the beauty contest aims to honour the charms of Vietnamese women and search for true beauties to affirm the position of Vietnamese beauty on the global map.

The contest will select female citizens with good morals, cultural qualifications and typical beauty of Vietnamese women to award the title of Miss Viet Nam Peace 2022.

It is expected that about 70 contestants will enter the semi-finals, and 40 finalists will perform challenging rounds at the common house and conduct volunteer activities across the country.

Miss Peace Viet Nam 2022 will receive the crown and a reward worth VND500 million (US$21,884), while the first and second runners-up will go home with VND300 million and VND200 million, respectively.

In addition, the contest’s organisers will give out such subsidiary awards as Compassionate Beauty, Ao Dai Beauty, Media Beauty, Photo Beauty, Talented Beauty, Beauty for Sea, Tourism Beauty, and Behave Beauty.

Also at the press conference, the organisers announced the crown model, sponsors and organisers for the beauty pageant, as well as launched the Fund for Viet Nam and World Peace.
