As part of the 9^th Da Nang Sports Festival, the Vovinam and traditional martial arts tournaments are taking place in Da Nang on April 20 and 21.

Organised by the municipal Department of Culture and Sports, the Vovinam tournament attracts 29 athletes across the city, whilst 46 athletes compete in traditional martial arts tournament.

Under the tournament’s rule, all fighters compete in the categories of men, women and knockout.

To ensure the success of the tournaments, the organisers ask all participating athletes to promote the spirit of martial arts, solidarity, honesty and nobility to achieve the best results.
