At a press conference on Monday it was announced that the finals of the National U13 Football Championship will take place at Da Nang’s Hoa Xuan Stadium and SHB Da Nang Youth Football Training Centre’s football pitches from July 5 - 15.

This year’s finals see the participation of nearly 500 footballers from 16 teams nationwide, namely Da Nang, Ha Noi, Haduwaco Hai Duong, Viettel, PVF, Song Lam Nghe An, Ha Noi Football Club, Hong Linh Ha Tinh, Hoang Anh Gia Lai, Becamex Binh Duong, QNK Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Dong Nai, Long An, HCMC Club and Binh Duong.

The teams are divided into 4 groups and compete in a round-robin format to select the best teams for the quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals.

U13 Da Nang are in the same group with Dong Nai, Haduwaco Hai Duong and Becamex Binh Duong.

The National U13 Football Championship 2022 is jointly organised by the Viet Nam Football Federation, the municipal Department of Culture and Sports, and the Tien Phong and Children's Newspapers.

Through 26 seasons of the tournament, many football talents have been discovered, trained, and gradually matured, thereby contributing to the overall development of Vietnamese football.
