The organisers of the Da Nang Golf Tourism Festival 2022 held a ceremony on Saturday morning to launch the BRG Open Golf Championship Danang 2022.

According to the organisers, the Da Nang Golf Tourism Festival 2022 will feature a wide array of exciting activities, of which the BRG Open Golf Championship Danang 2022 is the most highlight of the tourism-golf festival. The Championship will mark the strong recovery of the tourism industry, especially golf tourism.

The international-scale championship will gather 144 golfers from both home and abroad. In order to prepare well for the forthcoming event, the Organising Committee has planned and carried out many works.

The launch of the BRG Open Golf Championship Danang 2022 aimed to boost the morale of participating golfers and staff involved in supporting the tournament, as well as to create excitement and show strong determination for a successful tournament.

Mr. Nguyen Xuan Binh, the Deputy Director of the municipal Department of Tourism and Deputy Head of the Organising Committee of the Da Nang Golf Tourism Festival 2022, remarked that the BRG Open Golf Championship Danang 2022 is an important event in the city’s tourism-golf festival.

The organisers have been making great efforts to bring the best impression of Da Nang, and Viet Nam as a whole, to international golfers. Each individual participating in the organization of the tournament is playing a crucial role in promoting the image of the country and people of Viet Nam to international friends, noted Mr. Binh.

He hoped that the functional forces and support forces will work hard with a high sense of responsibility to ensure the success of the upcoming tournament, creating momentum to organise the tournament for the next 2 years.

Sponsored by the Viet Nam Golf Association, the BRG Open Golf Championship Danang 2022 is part of the Asian Development Tour (ADT) - Asia's No. 2 professional golf tournament system. This is the first time ADT has organised such a tournament in Viet Nam. It is an honour for Da Nang to be chosen as the host of the tournament with the companion of BRG Group as the main sponsor.

Apart from its highlighting event being the BRG Open Golf Championship Danang 2022, the Da Nang Golf Tourism Festival slated for August 28 - September 3 will feature an array of exciting side activities. Included are international golf and tourism conferences to be held from August 29 - 31, a press conference to announce the tournament on August 30, Pro-Am Prize on August 30, and a free city tour in the afternoon of August 29.

The BRG Open Golf Championship Danang 2022 not only contributes to promoting the development of Viet Nam’s golf industry to the world, but also opens up a golden opportunity for Da Nang, and Viet Nam as a whole, to send greetings to international friends, thereby affirming Da Nang's position as Asia's leading festival and event.
