Amazing kickoff at BRG Open Championship Danang 2022
Within the framework the Da Nang Golf Tourism Festival, the BRG Open Championship Danang 2022 is taking place at the BRG Danang Golf Resort from August 31 - September 2.

After the first day of competition on August 31, Thai golfer Tawit Polthai temporarily takes the lead on the ranking table with score 68 (-4), only a one-stroke distance from second place. There are 6 golfers who are tied for 2nd place with -3 strokes, including champion candidate Chen Guxin.
At the end of round 1, the Vietnamese golfer with the best score was Truong Chi Quan who came in 8th position with a score of 2 under par. Viet Nam's No. 1 amateur golfer Nguyen Anh Minh had a bad start when he reached 11 over par and temporarily finished T89.

After 2 days of competition on August 31 and September 1, after 36 holes, top 50 golfers will win the right to compete in the final round which is slated for September 2 afternoon.
Currently, six out of the 40 participating Vietnamese golfers are among the top 50 golfers, namely Truong Chi Quan, Doan Uy, Do Hong Giang (+2), Nguyen Thanh Hai (+3), Nguyen Nhat Long (+3) and Do Quang Khanh (+4).

Winthin the framework of the ongoing Da Nang Golf Tourism Festival 2022, the Pro-Am Prize, an exchange event between professional golfers, guests, sponsors and KOLs (Key opinion leaders) has already organised at the BRG Danang Golf Resort.
The tournament sees the participation of 33 professional and 99 amateur golfers divided into groups of 4 competing in the Scramble format.
The team of golfers Matt Killen from the UK, and Than Trong Hai Au, Dang Huu Phuc and Phan Minh Hieu all from Viet Nam have won the first prize at the Pro-am tournament.
