Over the past year, the Da Nang General Science Library has made ceaseless efforts to improve the quality and renew its activities, as well as add more children’s books in a bid to make its reading room for children become an ideal cultural and intellectual destination.

Specifically, nearly 2,200 children's documents have been added during the year, bringing the total number of copies of children's books to nearly 45,000.

Also, many exciting activities have been organised at the library such as weekly reading programme, and free movie screening, thereby attracting nearly 40,000 children readers during the 2021-2022 academic year.

Most recently, the library has recently awarded 35 children who borrowed and returned books on time, were conscious in preserving books, and had outstanding reading achievements during the 2021-2022 school year.

The General Science Library has just launched the reading movement in the 2022-2023 academic year and encouraged children to become a reading culture ambassador in order to spread reading habits amongst the whole community.
