Sketches from mobile art camp go on exhibition in Da Nang
An exhibition is running in Da Nang from September 17 to 20 to display sketches created at the creative camps named ‘Caravan - Trans-Vietnamese painting" in Da Nang and the neighbouring city of Hoi An in Quang Nam province.
The event is being jointly held by the Da Nang Fine Arts Museum and the Southern Representative Office of the Viet Nam Fine Arts Association.
On display are 75 sketches honouring the landscapes, people, and beautiful places of Da Nang and Hoi An.‘
Caravan - Trans-Vietnamese Painting’ is a mobile painting camp where paintings are created by artists during the journey through many Vietnamese localities. These artworks showcase the beauty of various regions through the creative eyes of the artists.
The ongoing painting camp attracts 20 artists departing from Ho Chi Minh City to Da Nang and returning to the former. During this journey, there are 3 exhibitions held at 3 rest stops, namely the Dak Lak Provincial Cultural Centre, the Da Nang Museum of Fine Arts and the Ho Chi Minh City Museum of Fine Arts.
