The first-ever Anime, Manga, Cosplay Festival imbued with Japanese culture kicked off in Da Nang on Friday, attracting the participation of hundreds of cosplayers.

The festival attracts a lot of young people

The festival is taking place from September 23 - 25 at the Mikazuki Hotel based in Lien Chieu District.

Coming to the free festival, participants can immerse themselves in a unique miniature Japan with a series of fun and exciting activities.

During the event, the Kim Dong Publishing House introduces visitors to the latest books, publications, souvenirs and many typical Japanese dishes such as Udon noodles, Tempura, Takoyaki, and etc.

Co-organised by the Consulate General of Japan in Da Nang and the Touch FES, the 3-day festival promises to create a new highlight for the good relationship between Viet Nam and Japan as well as promote the city’s tourism.
