SHB Da Nang finished in the 10th place in last year’s league season which was considered as a difficult season with personnel changes for the local football team.

In fact, in the first half of last season, SHB Da Nang had good performances as such young footballers as Luong Duy Cuong, Nguyen Phi Hoang, and Pham Dinh Duy showed their strength and amazing styles of play. However, key stars, including goalkeeper Thanh Binh and midfielder Nguyen Sa, suffered injuries while younger football players could no longer keep their form, bringing the football team down.

Moreover, foreign footballers did not meet the requirements of the coaching board. Coach Phan Thanh Hung had to change foreigners 3 times but still could not find good players.

In an effort to improve performance in the 2023 league season, SHB DN have recruited 3 new foreign players, namely Rodrigo Dias, Nicolas Olsen and Mauricio Pinto.

Specifically, midfielder Nicholas Olsen has confirmed his ability in the shirt of Saigon FC. Meanwhile, central defender Mauricio Pinto is a rookie but his expertise is highly appreciated and suitable for the style of coach Phan Thanh Hung.

Striker Rodrigo Dias, who once played for Quang Nam and Nam Dinh football teams, is expected to help SHB Da Nang score accurately with the support of Pham Dinh Duy, Phan Van Long and Ha Minh Tuan.

Notably, SHB DN will compete in the league season with the participation of key stars such as Vo Hoang Quang, Pham Nguyen Sa, Giang Tran Quach Tan and Ha Minh Tuan. They may have been on the other side of the career slope, but with their experience and enthusiasm, they will "guide" the juniors to help the team become more stable.

Da Nang’s football supporters are putting great faith in Coach Phan Thanh Hung for helping SHB Da Nang build their own identity and gain more achievements.

Coach Hung revealed that, in the coming time, the SHB Da Nang Football Club will continue to rejuvenate the squad with the players they have trained so that the team has its own mark and identity.
