Da Nang dwellers and tourists eagerly visit spring flower streets after Tet

On weekends, many Da Nang dwellers, along with domestic and foreign tourists, were observed to coming to spring flower streets to take photos and enjoy the spring atmosphere in the city. The extension of the operating time of such flower streets for 10 more days has helped people have more fun and impressive check-in spots at the beginning of the year.

As noted by our reporter, the spring flower street west of the Han River were crowded with visitors on weekends.

Mr. Hoang Dai Nghia, residing in Hai Chau 1 Ward, Hai Chau District, said that taking advantage of the favourale weather conditions in recent days, he took his children to the spring flower garden to take souvenir photos.

This is an opportunity for many foreigners and tourists to visit the city after the Tet break.

Mr. Ho Huy Hoang, a female resident of An Khe Ward, Thanh Khe District, undertook that he took advantage of the weekend to go to the flower street to admire the scenery and save memorial moments with his family because he couldn’t visit here during Tet.

"I feel very happy because there are still places with spring atmosphere after Tet for my family to go on excursions" Mr. Hoang said.

After many years in Da Nang, this is the first time that Hoang Thuy Dung, a student of the city-based Duy Tan University, who is hailing from Le Thuy District, Quang Binh Province, has visited spring flower streets.

“In previous years, I often missed the opportunity to visit spring flower streets because I had to go back to my hometown to celebrate Tet. This year, the city lets the flower street last longer, creating conditions for people who miss Da Nang's Tet holiday like me to feel that atmosphere again through this place" Dung said.

With the theme of ‘Convergence and Development’, this year’s spring flower streets stretch along the west bank of the Han River, Bach Dang Street from the T-bridge to the Dragon Bridge, and APEC Park.

Specifically, floral displays are at the Da Nang Administrative Center, the Thanh Dien Hai Street, the east sidewalk at 42 Bach Dang in front of the T-bridge, a sidewalk in front of 72 Bach Dang, the northern and southern squares at the western end of the Rong (Dragon) Bridge in Hai Chau District, a sidewalk in front of 12 Tran Phu, sidewalks at 32 Bach Dang and 23 Tran Phu, and the square north of the eastern end of the Rong (Dragon) Bridge in Son Tra District.

Spring flower streets across the city will continue to be open to serve people to visit, take photos and save memories until the end of February 9 (the 19th day of the first lunar month).
