The exhibition features 50 paintings and sculptures made by 48 artists from the Da Nang Fine Arts Association and the Thua Thien Hue Provincial Fine Arts Association.
With works of various materials, genres and contents, the exhibition showcases the artists’ deep feelings about the beauty of nature, culture and people of Viet Nam, as well as spreads their love for the homeland and the country to the public.
‘Colours of April’ is an exhibition held annually in Da Nang every April to celebrate the great national public holidays of April 30 and May 1, which is highly appreciated by experts and the public for the quality of artworks.
The event provides a good opportunity for painters and sculptors in Hue and Da Nang to strengthen cohesion, and exchange experience in composition, thereby contributing to the development of fine arts in Central Viet Nam.
The exhibition runs until May 24.
