The 'Flying over the silver sea' open paragliding tournament took place on Da Nang’s Son Tra Peninsula on Saturday.

As part of the ongoing Da Nang Beach Tourism Season 2023 programme, the event was co-organised by the Management Board of the Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang Tourist Beaches, and the Son Tra Paragliding Club.

The tournament saw the participation of professional paragliders from paragliding clubs nationwide. This is a healthy playground for paragliders, contributing to promoting the development of paragliding services.

Accordingly, the participating paragliders took off at the paragliding field on the Son Tra Peninsula at an altitude of 600m, and landed at the Tho Quang Beach.

The competed in 3 rounds, calculating individual points to find the first, second and third prize winners.
