On Tuesday, lots of residents and tourists were seen visiting cinemas in Da Nang such as Le Do, CGV Vincom and Galaxy Cinema to enjoy films as part of the first Da Nang Asian Film Festival in 2023 (DANAFF I).

The bustling atmosphere was recorded at the aforementioned cinemas on the first day of screening. Although today was a weekday, many people, especially young people of school age, arranged time to go to the cinemas to watch movies.

Movies are screened in time frames: 10:00am, 3:00pm, 5:30pm and 8:00pm.

In particular, the Le Do Cinema has one screening room with 4 Vietnamese films in the ‘Vietnamese cinema today’ programme.

At the CGV Vincom, there are 2 screening rooms with 7 Asian films and 1 Vietnamese one.

The Galaxy Cinema has 2 screening rooms with 2 Vietnamese films participating in the competition, 4 Vietnamese films not participating in the competition, and 2 films featuring Japanese cinema.

According to movie theater managers, it is expected that the showtimes in the evening will attract the most visitors because there are many "hot" movies and the audience has a lot of free time.

Currently, movie tickets at all screenings have been booked by the audience.

Young people come to the Le Do Cinema to follow the screening showtimes and watch movies at the first Da Nang Asian Film Festival in 2023.

Although it is a weekday, the number of cinema goers is relatively crowded, especially young people.

For each film in the "Vietnamese cinema today" programme, the audience is given rating cards on the quality of the films, which is served as the basis for awarding the films.

Movie tickets were released free-of-charged before the public holidays of April 30 and May 1.

A large number of moviegoers are recorded on the first day of screening.

Cinemas such as CGV Vincom and Galaxy Cinema where films participating in the competition are being screened attract a large number of moviegoers.
