On May 7, the 7^th largest triathlon race in Viet Nam - VinFast IRONMAN 70.3 Viet Nam2023 will take place at Son Thuy Beach, Ngu Hanh Son District, Da Nang. Making comeback to the city for the third time, the race carries the message of "taking the challenge" promising to bring fierce yet attractive competitions.

VinFast IRONMAN 70.3 Viet Nam is co-hosted by Sunrise Events Viet Nam (SEV) along with the Da Nang Department of Culture and Sports.

This year's race sets a new record when it has attracted more than 3,000 athletes from 62 countries around the world. In addition to the main IRONMAN 70.3 race, the triathlon week includes the SUNRISE SPRINT Viet Nam, a short series triathlon for beginners; IRONKIDS Viet Nam with aquathlon and triathlon formats exclusively for children; Newborns Viet Nam Run Out charity race to support babies in Viet Nam.

Besides, the IRONMAN village area introduces sports products and services that provide an enjoyable shopping experience. In order to give athletes more motivation, VNG Ironman 70.3 Viet Nam will offer 34 spots competing in the Ironman 70.3 World Championship 2023 in Finland.

According to Ms. Le Thi Thu Thuy, the Vice President of Vingroup Viet Nam, VinFast Global General Director, athletes coming to VinFast IRONMAN 70.3 Viet Nam not only enjoy the pride of winning, but also grasp the opportunity to conquer the international arena.

The race is contributing significantly to the journey of sports development in the country and promoting the growth of national tourism. Since then, bringing national pride to the world through prestigious medals. In particular, VinFast IRONMAN 70.3 Viet Nam will inspire athletes to conquer their own limits and break personal records.

According to Deputy Director of the Department of Culture and Sports Nguyen Trong Thao, VinFast IRONMAN 70.3 Viet Nam 2023 is a famous sports race in the world with many extreme challenges as well as a sporting event in Viet Nam with a large number of participants of diversified nationalities and the number of athletes participating going up year after year.

In 2015, the competition was held for the first time in Da Nang, attracting more than 1,000 athletes from 54 countries worldwide. In 2022, it attracted more than 2,500 athletes. This year, the number of participants continued to record a sharp increase with more than 3,000 competitors.
