Chairman of the Hoa An Ward People's Committee Nguyen Kim Thanh said that this year's village communal house festival was held from April 27 - 29 to celebrate the death anniversary of Hung Kings and the 48th anniversary of Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30).
It aimed to promote traditional cultural values, and educate people, especially the young generation, about the national tradition of ‘when drinking water, remember its source’. At the same time, through cultural activities and folk games, the festival helped tighten the spirit of solidarity, friendship and neighborliness in the residential community.
On the evening of April 29, for the first time, the People's Public Security Ceremonial Guard under the Mobile Police Command held a parade and performances on a section of Bach Dang Street from Tran Thi Ly Bridge to Rong (Dragon) Bridge.

“The eye-pleasing performances by the People's Public Security Ceremonial Guard are extremely meaningful on the occasion of the 48th anniversary of Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30). The heroic melodies combined with the choreographed moves in performances make the audience feel the style, discipline and arduous training of officers of the People's Public Security Ceremonial Guard" she added.
