National sculpture exhibition slated for September 2023
The national sculpture competition and exhibition is scheduled to open at the Ha Noi Museum in September 2023, according to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
The competition is open to all sculptors, painters and artists who are Vietnamese citizens or overseas Vietnamese.
Entries have free-form themes in the following types: transparent statue, icon block, reliefs, sculptural installations, dynamic sculptures, light sculptures, and material works.
They must be composed between 2013 and 2023 and have never been displayed at national-level contests and exhibitions organised by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
The organising board will select works through 2 rounds. In the first round, entrants must send colour photos of their works to judges for selection. In the second round, they are required to submit their works for judges to directly view, select, display, and award prizes.
Photos of works should be sent directly or by post to the Fine Arts Room, 3rd floor of the Department of Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibition, 38 Cao Ba Quat, Ha Noi or via email tl5namdieukhac@gmail.com from now until the end of June 30.
