The event aimed to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of Viet Nam - Japan diplomatic relations, and promote the development of Vietnamese animated movies in the future.
The event was divided into 3 sessions: Japanese cinema - experience and success; cooperation in film production between Japanese and Vietnamese cinemas; cooperation potential and trend in animation production cooperation between Japan and Viet Nam.
During the seminar, Japanese experts briefed successful experience of Japanese cinema, and looked back at the process of film production cooperation between Japan and Viet Nam, thereby finding out the cooperation potential and direction between film businesses, especially animation businesses.
Earlier on May 10, the Da Nang People's Committee coordinated with the Viet Nam Association for the Promotion and Development of Cinematography to organise a seminar on developing the film industry and building a favorable film-making environment in Da Nang.
The event saw the participation of famous domestic and international film producers and directors.
It had two parts: the role of the film industry and its impact on local economic development, and the building of a favorable filmmaking environment in Da Nang - Domestic and international experience.
During the event, domestic and international experts and filmmakers assessed the potential for film development of Da Nang and proposed development solutions for the city's film industry in the future. This opened up opportunities for filmmakers to come to Da Nang to create cinematic work, and a favorable filmmaking environment in Da Nang, hereby contributing to the overall development of the city's socio-economic development.
