The People's Committee of Hoa Hiep Bac Ward in Lien Chieu District, Da Nang, recently held a ceremony to inaugurate the Trung Thuy Tu Village Communal House.

With 180 years of history, the cultural and historical work has been upgraded and embellished by the Trung Nam Land Company at a total cost of more than VND3.4 billion.

According to historical records, the Trung Thuy Tu village communal house was established in 1843 to worship the village’s founders. It was then completely destroyed during the two resistance wars against the French and the US invaders.

In 2021, the Lien Chieu District authorities decided to restore and renovate the communal house on the old ground of 670m², according to the architecture of 3 compartments, 4 roofs, of which the main hall has an area of 170m².

The embellishment of the Trung Thuy Tu Village Communal House has an important meaning in preserving historical and cultural values, as well as meeting the needs of people's cultural and religious activities.
