Rehearsal for DIFF 2023's opening night

A rehearsal for the opening night of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2023 took place at the DIFF's main stage on Tran Hung Dao Street on Thursday evening.

Attending at the event were municipal People’s Committee Vice Chairwoman Ngo Thi Kim Yen and members of the organising board.

Vice Chairwoman Yen highly lauded great efforts made by the artistes and arts troupes for preparing and practicing in a short time but still building well-organised arts programmes.

She assessed that all of the arts performances were high quality in terms of hearing and vision, with a perfect combination with the water music effect in the riverbed, promising leave an unforgettable impression on the audience.

The musical programme at the opening night will feature six performances by famous Vietnamese artistes, along with foreign dancers from 25 countries of the Sun World Ba Na Hills tourist area’s dance troupe.

Notably, Vietnamese singer Ho Ngoc Ha will bring the audience a song entitled ‘Vi Chinh La Em’ (Because It’s You), Vietnamese singer Tung Duong with ‘Mot Vong Viet Nam’ (A tour around Viet Nam), and Vietnamese singer Anh Tu with ‘Welcome to Da Nang’.  

In addition to the main music programme, at the beginning of the opening ceremony, the audience will be treated to a performance of traditional Vietnamese musical instruments entitled ‘Doi Luu’ (Convection) and the song ‘Song Co Co’ (Co Co River). Performed by the artists from the Da Nang-based Trung Vuong Theatre, the two performances won high prizes at the ASEAN Music Festival 2022. Also, the audience will enjoy the theme song of DIFF 2023 ‘Nhung Uoc Mo Rang Ngoi’ (Bright Dreams) at the end of the opening ceremony.
