Bamboo pulp paper exhibition in Da Nang until July 23
A total of 52 ‘truc chi’ (bamboo paper) artworks are being exhibited at the Da Nang Fine Arts Museum from July 14- 23, marking the second event of its kind in the city and celebrating the 10th anniversary of the research and development journey of Vietnamese bamboo art.

The artworks are displayed in 2 separate spaces, namely ‘Art of ‘bamboo paper’, displaying the works of 13 bamboo painters of different periods and the applied art space consisting of works applying architectural graphic techniques to only create installation arts, with presentation techniques to create interaction with the audience.
The exhibition aims to provide a full view of the responsiveness of this new art form the expressions of techniques, topics and applications as well as the "ability" to spread the peaceful "energy" from the works to the minds of the viewers over the past decade.
The exhibition, which gathers top pieces from 13 artists, will be on display alongside workshops and panel discussions about the art.
‘Truc chi’, which was developed by artist Phan Hai Bang from Hue City, initiated by traditional methods to created unique graphic techniques, according to the principle of ‘Aesthetics - Education – Society’. This type of arts was born to honor the value of gratitude and humanity creatively through artistic language; at the same time spreading the concept of gender equality in modern society.
The first exhibition was organised at the museum in 2017 with the participation of the founder of the style Bang and other members of the Viet Nam bamboo paper project.
