As recorded by our reporters at Wednesday noon, two fireworks teams from France and Italy were urgently completing the final stages in preparation for the grand finale of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2023.

Team France will bring a performance called "Light up love"

As planned, French and Italian teams will bring fireworks performances with the themes of ‘Light up love’ and ‘The power of art’.

Mr. Edouard Gregoire, leader of the French fireworks team, said that as soon as returning to France after the qualifying round, his team immediately prepared ideas for the final competition night. The team wanted to bring a really different music from the previous round and surprise the judges and the audience.

"We decided to choose a vibrant music genre, promising to bring lots of surprises to the audience in the upcoming finale. Because of the limited time, we will introduce the most quintessential things in the show with a variety of light effects and fireworks" Mr. Edouard Gregoire said.

Meanwhile, the fireworks team from the boot-shaped country will produce a special performance with the technique and light of a typical European country on the evening of July 8.

According to Mr. Damiano Baraido, the leader of the Italian fireworks team, compared with the first round, the two finalists only had more than a week to prepare for their fireworks shows. The Italian team’s display will touch the emotions and hearts of the audience and the judges.

"The finale is very important, so we work up to 12 hours per day at the fireworks shooting area no matter how harsh the weather is. We will give all our love and faith to the upcoming final round" Mr. Damiano Baraido remarked.

Meanwhile, the fireworks team from Italy will bring a performance called "The Power of Art" in the finale.

The performance by Team Italy will be inspired by the art exhibition entitled “Gli Equilibri Fluidi” of Italian artist Josè Angelino.

Various types of fireworks and effects will be used in the finale by the Italian fireworks team.
