Viet Nam - Japan Festival in Da Nang slated for from July 13
The 8th Viet Nam - Japan Festival in Da Nang in 2023 is scheduled to run from July 13 to 16 at the ‘Bien Dong (East Sea) Park and some other locations. This event is part of a series of programmes to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and Viet Nam organissed by the municipal People's Committee in collaboration with the Japanese Consulate General in Da Nang.
This year, the Viet Nam - Japan Festival treats locals and tourists in the city with more than 20 events introducing traditional and modern Japanese culture such as tea ceremony, ikebana flower arrangement and calligraphy writing. Notably, there is a giant sushi roll performance by chef Hoshi Phan, Vietnamese-Japanese rock night, Japanese wrestling performance, football exchanges, exchanges with readers of manga, anime and cosplay contest.
In addition, within the framework of the event, there are programmes to support information about studying in Japan and seminars related to Japanese tourism and economy, cultural experience corners, business introduction booths and the sales of Japanese cuisine and products.
