An art programme took place on Saturday at the Thanh Khe District-based Cultural and Sports Centre in order to celebrate the 55^th anniversary of the victory of Mother Nhu and the 7 Thanh Khe Heroes (December 26).

The programme featured many elaborately choreographed performances which were diverse in genres and forms such as dance, singing, and musical instrument solo.

The performances praised the people of Da Nang in general and Thanh Khe in particular in the struggle for national liberation, and in building and developing the homeland today.

In particular, there were many songs honouring the victories of Mother Nhu - Mother Hien and the 7 Thanh Khe Heroes in the resistance war against the US.

The programme aimed to pay great tribute to the heroic martyrs and heroic Vietnamese mothers who significantly contributed to the cause of national liberation, thereby educating revolutionary traditions and raising love for the homeland and country among people, especially the young generation.
