The municipal Department of Construction will be responsible for guiding the company to coordinate with the consulting unit to complete the design and the installation as scheduled.

After the Tet holiday, the aforementioned dragon statue will be moved to the APEC Sculpture Park or the campuses of the Museum of Da Nang or the Da Nang General Science Library.

According to the Da Nang Construction Technical Consulting Centre - the design consulting unit for the floral decoration and lighting project for Tet 2024, the project design focuses on the image of the dragon - the zodiac sign for the Lunar New Year 2024.

Images of dragons through periods of Vietnamese history are synthesized to select a dragon shape suitable for Vietnamese culture and included in the design plan with the main theme of “Con Rong, Chau Tien” (children of the dragon and grandchildren of the fairy).

Highlights of floral decoration sites are images of stylised dragon mascots in many shapes and postures, ensuring both majestic majesty and a closeness suitable to Asian culture.

Specifically, at the T-shaped Bridge in front of 42 Bach Dang Street, the main mascot will be the image of a stylized dragon "Sacred Dragon Seal" to evoke memories of the time when King Hung built the country, whilst the image of a flock of Lac birds flying up into the sky demonstrates Da Nang's desire to reach out to the world.

At the northern campus at the western end of the Dragon Bridge in Hai Chau District, there will be an image of a flying dragon with fire, smoke, and water spraying effects, creating a bustling cheerfulness suitable for the spring atmosphere. At the same time, the dragon's shape is designed to curl and undulate according to the spring dance.

The southern campus at the western end of the Dragon Bridge will feature the image of Lac Long Quan and Au Co with the idea of showing 50 children following their father to the sea, 50 children following their mother to the mountains.

A cluster of stylized images of dragons travelling in spring, reflecting the joyful atmosphere of Tet, will be installed at the northern campus at the eastern end of Dragon Bridge.

With stylized images of dragon and miniature landscapes decorated in large flower beds, Da Nang promises to have unique and impressive spaces to welcome the Lunar New Year 2024 full of good weather conditions, cheerfulness, truth, goodness, beauty, prosperity, luck and wisdom.
