Exchange activities between locals and armed forces
The cultural exchange programme entitled ‘Sentiment between Armed Forces and Civilians’ was held in Da Nang on Friday evening to mark the 79th founding anniversary of the Viet Nam People's Army.

Organised by the municipal Women Union, the programme included some exchange activities between members who are the wives of officers and soldiers working in armed force units based in the city, and on duty to protect the sea and islands across the country.
In addition, there were culinary exchanges and flashmob performances by female officers of armed units, and members of the Female Veterans’ Clubs at grassroots level.
Also, 12 gifts were given to women who are wives of officers and men who often go on long business trips.
During the programme, the Da Nang Women's Union created conditions for Captain Le Dinh Chuc's family to reunite after many months of separation.
The programme aimed to connect locals with officers and members in the the city-based armed forces units; as well as promote the effectiveness of military rear support work.
