The Centre for Culture and Sports of Da Nang’s Hai Chau District in collaboration with the Rose & Rose Da Nang Gifted Centre on Sunday organised a number of fun activities related to the theme of traditional Tet at the APEC Sculpture Park for 100 local children.

Included were a music show with the theme of welcoming spring 2024, a calligraphy writing contest themed ‘Children learn about Vietnamese painting and calligraphy’, a presentation competition about lacquer paintings, and a quiz contest about traditional Tet.

Coming to the APEC Sculpture Park, Ms. Marry James, a British tourist, seemed very interested in the abovementioned activities.

“This is the second time I have returned to Da Nang after 10 years. I am very impressed by the city’s rapid growth in terms of architecture, infrastructure, cuisine, and others”, she added.

Mrs. Pham Tran Thai An, Director of the Rose & Rose Da Nang Gifted Centre shared "In order to create a joyful and healthy atmosphere for children before New Year 2024, we create the playground with the desire to enhance extracurricular activities, develop creativity and especially help children better understand the traditional Tet".
