A photo exhibition entitled "The beauty of soldiers", and an art show themed "Resounding forever the epic", were held at the Hai Chau District-based Culture and Sports Centre on Tuesday evening.

Co-organised by the centre and the Border Guard Command of Da Nang Port Border Gate, the events aimed to celebrate the 79^th anniversary of the founding of the Viet Nam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2023).

They contributed to educating people about the historical traditions and meaning of the founding day of the Viet Nam People's Army; and at the same time, arousing revolutionary heroism, the spirit of great solidarity, pride and will for national self-reliance.

A performance in group singing at the art programme

Specifically, on display at the photo exhibition were 79 photos captured by 22 photographers from the Da Nang Photography Club, plus documentary photos provided by the Military Command in Hai Chau District.

The works honestly and vividly represented images of Uncle Ho's soldiers in performing tasks and daily activities, thereby contributing to reflecting the emotions of soldiers and people in the current period.

Meanwhile, the art programme featured a total of 12 performances in many genres such as dance, and group and solo singing, divided into 3 parts: Historical Footsteps, Glory of The Fatherland, and Love of Soldiers.
