It aims to select the optimal and highly feasible architectural plans meeting the requirements in terms of planning, architecture, culture, socio-economic efficiency, national defence and security, and environmental protection, thereby preserving all archaeologically discovered Cham relics.

At the same time, design options are required to ensure conformity of usage functionality and technical infrastructure, and the harmony of landscape architecture and surrounding space, as well as create highlights and unique characteristics of Cham cultural architecture in Da Nang and Central Viet Nam as a whole.

The contest is open to all organisations and individuals at both home and abroad. Entries will be accepted until January 18.

The competition offers a total prize value of VND500 million, with first prize winner receiving VND250 million, second prize winner VND100 million, and third prize winner VND50 million. VND100 million will go to support top five entries with the highest scores for entering the entrance exam round.

After completing registration for the contest, in the preliminary round, based on the capacity profile of the participating units, at least 3 design consulting units with appropriate qualifications, capacity and experience will be invited to participate in the audition rounds.

The contest’s organiser will notify results to selected organisations and individuals to prepare for the next rounds of the contest.
