Refresh the space to welcome guests

Recorded at major tourist attractions such as the Sun World Ba Na Hills Tourist Area, Nui Than Tai Hot Spring Park, Asia Park, Da Nang Mikazuki Japanese Resorts & Spa have all invested in their tourism products and services in a great effort to make an impressive difference for visitors.

Specifically, at the Sun World Ba Na Hills tourist area, the 2024 Spring Festival will last from January 20 to March 31under the theme ‘Colourful Flower Reunion’, giving visitors interesting experiences in spring space that is brilliant with flowers such as tulips, roses, hydrangeas and sunflowers.

In particular, the blooming of cherry blossoms contributes to creating a unique charm and increasing the attractiveness of Ba Na. Coming to Ba Na on this occasion, visitors can see the brilliant tulip garden with more than 100,000 flowers of more than 10 different types.

You can take photos (check-in) with ‘spring angel models’ simulating flowers on the Ba Na hills, experience the cultural space of traditional Vietnamese Tet Festival with images of ‘banh chung’, red firecrackers, five-fruit tray, peach blossoms or folk games imbued with Vietnamese identity (Hoi An garden area), learn how to wrap ‘banh chung’ on Tet (at Beer Plaza restaurant), enjoy traditional cuisine and rice trays at restaurants on top of Ba Na hills.

According to the Director of the Sun World Ba Na Hills Tourist Area Nguyen Lam An, the highlight of the 2024 Spring Festival is a series of special art programmes celebrating the Year of the Dragon that are both rich in traditional Vietnamese culture and have characteristics of modern European art at this tourist site.
The art programme ‘Spring Symphony’ will take place at the Sun Eclipse Square area at 11:20 a.m. and 1:20 p.m., promising to bring visitors a joyful, bustling and memorable spring atmosphere.

“We have prepared elaborate and meticulous Tet plans with the hope that every year visitors to Sun World Ba Na Hills will not only see a new look of the tourist area, but also feel full of traditional Vietnamese Tet flavors and features only found in Ba Na. Hopefully, the Tet experiences at the Ba Na peak will bring visitors fresh emotions and relaxation to start a peaceful and happy lunar new year.”, said Mr. Nguyen Lam An.

Similarly, at the Asia Park, this Tet holiday also promises to have many bustling activities with the experience of ‘Happy Tet Market’. The park is decorated in bold spring colours with peach and apricot blossoms, small and large floral decorations, all of which create vivid images for Tet to serve both local residents and tourists.

Ms. Phung Pham Thanh Thuy, the Director of the Asia Park, said that the highlight of the ‘Happy Tet Market’ is the bright red lantern road with more than 5,000 lanterns stretching from the entrance area for visitors to check-in. There will be 22 food stalls decorated in the style of countries in the Asian region, introducing their famous dishes and typical souvenirs.

In particular, from the 2nd to the 10th days of the first lunar month of 2024 (February 11 to 18), visitors will be immersed in the festive atmosphere with many activities such as calligraphy, portrait painting, and check-in with body-painting artists, bingo games, traditional folk games, water puppetry (dragon boat area), traditional musical instrument performances and youth music at the Sun Wheel stage; Mai Hoa Thung lion and dragon dance performances...

Increase experiences for residents and visitors

On this occasion, the Nui Than Tai Hot Springs Park will also organise many activities to serve local residents and tourists who come here for fun and enjoy. According to the Director of Communications & Marketing of the Nui Than Tai Hot Spring Park Le Thi Bich Huong, the Than Tai Festival will be held on a larger scale than every year with the desire to bring visitors more diverse experiences the first days of the lunar new year.

There will be many activities such as lion and dragon dances and drum festivals, the performance of ‘bai choi’, which is often seen at local spring festivals and resembles a game, using playing cards and village huts, and the ‘tung tung za za’ dances of the Co Tu people, the ceremony to welcome the God of Wealth.

In addition, to attract more visitors, accommodation and resort establishments also have incentive programmes and culinary experience packages suitable for each group of couples, families and individual groups. These programmes often focus on experiencing and enjoying typical Tet dishes.

To create a vibrant atmosphere and entertainment spot for residents and tourists to celebrate the Lunar New Year 2024, under the approval by the Da Nang People's Committee, the dragon’s head at the eastern end of the Rong Bridge will breathe fire and squirt water on the nights from February 9 to 13 and the Han River Bridge will rotate 90 degrees to let boats pass through on the nights of February 10 and February 11.

From January 26 to 29, residents and tourists can experience the Tet atmosphere at the ‘2024 Lunar New Year Tet Festival’, organised by the Hoa Vang District People's Committee, in 3 main areas, namely Hoa Vang District Administrative Centre (Hoa Phong Commune); Quang Xuong route (from the District Administrative Centre to Tuy Loan Market); Tuy Loan night street.

At the festival, there will be a Vietnamese Tet space and typical local product booths display commercial products for sale, folk game space, artistic calligraphy, check-in points for photos in the Vietnamese Tet space, traditional homeland cuisine, Tuy Loan night street and Spring Flower festival.

With this year's Vietnamese Tet Festival, the organisers hope to promote the image of the homeland, recreate the nation's traditional cultural space and attract more tourists and local residents to Da Nang so that that they can admire the city’s beautiful landscapes, go shopping, enjoy spring vibes, welcome in Tet and understand more about the meaning and rituals of traditional Tet.
