The Quang Da Tet Culinary Culture Festival is slated to take place at the eastern bank of Da Nang’s Han River from February 2 - 17.

The event is jointly organised by the Quang Nam Culinary Culture Association, the Da Nang Culinary Culture Association and the Son Tra District People's Committee.

Its purpose is to develop cuisine into a unique tourism product, aiming at attracting more domestic and international tourists to Da Nang.

It will contribute to supporting businesses to overcome their difficulties and develop effectively, promoting the traditional cultural values of Vietnamese cuisine, building the brand "Son Tra Tourism Cuisine", and boosting the development of local tourism.

A wide range of exciting events and unique activities will be organised during the festival. Included will be the opening ceremony of the festival, a fashion show "A collection of Quang noodle ao dai”, 50 food booths, unique culinary demonstration performances, a cooking contest, a competition to wrap ‘banh chung’, and some folk games.

Visitors to the festival will be introduced to fresh and abundant sources of seafood ingredients in the central region to prepare delicious, nutritious and unique culinary dishes.

The event promises to provide a good destination for accommodation and food service providers to connect, learn about and exchange experience to improve the quality of their services, thereby significantly contributing to advertising Da Nang as a friendly and hospitable destination to international friends.
