In recent days, construction units have rushed to make floral decorations on many major streets in a bid to promptly serve the sightseeing and photography demands of local residents and tourists during the forthcoming Tet Festival 2024 which will fall from February 8 - 14.

Floral decorations are underway along sidewalk of Bach Dang Street, opposite the APEC Sculpture Park.

Following recent approval by the Da Nang administration, a total of nearly VND 19.92 billion has been spent on floral displays and lighting decorations for the upcoming Tet holiday.

Accordingly, floral displays have been made at the Da Nang Administrative Centre, the eastern sidewalk opposite 42 Bach Dang, sidewalk areas opposite 32, 42-44 and 72 Bach Dang Street, 12 and 23 Tran Phu Stree, landscape deck southwest of the Dragon Bridge in Hai Chau District, landscape deck northeast of the Dragon Bridge in Son Tra District, the Nguyen Huu Tho - Duy Tan - Le Dinh Ly roundabout, a concrete flower trellis along Bach Dang Street;, the East Sea Park, the APEC Sculpture Park, and the sidewalk opposite APEC Sculpture Park.

Meanwhile, lighting systems are being installed at the Dien Hai Citadel. Patterned electric frames are hung on Xo Viet Nghe Tinh Street, and Nguyen Van Troi and Tran Phu bridges. Street light domes will be installed a section of Vo Nguyen Giap between its intersection with Ho Xuan Huong Lake. Floral frames will be hung on power poles on Vo Van Kiet - Pham Van Dong - Tran Hung Dao streets, whilst flower beds will be made along the sidewalk on Bach Dang - Tran Hung Dao streets.

Thanks to the recent favourable weather codiition, the maximum number of construction units has been mobilsed to urgently complete the plan to serve residents and tourists during the coming Tet holiday.

It is expected that the floral decorations and lighting installation for the 2024 Lunar New Year will be completed before February 7 (the 28^th day of the lunar month of the Lunar Year of the Cat). The spring flower streets are scheduled to open to the public on February 7 and close on February 19.
