An exhibition themed ‘Spring of Love’ was officially opened at the Artistic Exhibition House in Da Nang’s Son Tra District on Friday.

Hosted by the Son Tra District People’s Committee, the exhibition aims to celebrate the 94^th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Viet Nam (February 3) and the Lunar New Year of the Dragon 2024.

On display at the event are 60 works of fine art made by 60 artists; 4,023 Tet cards by preschool, primary school and junior high school pupils across the district; and 105 photos taken by 26 photographers citywide.

All the works have vivid content, and diverse and rich forms of expression. They relatively fully reflect the beauty of the land and people of Son Tra District in particular and the city in general.

After the exhibition, seven other exhibitions with the themes of "The Beauty of Son Tra"; “The beauty of Son Tra District and South Korea’s Gurye District”; "Joining hands to protect the environment"; and "Colours of childhood" will be organised at the Artistic Exhibition House.

Notably, the district plans to create conditions for organisations, individuals, artists and photographers to organise their personal exhibitions at the Artistic Exhibition House, thereby contributing to enriching activities, and attracting a large number of visitors.

The nearly VND20 billion the Artistic Exhibition House in Da Nang’s Son Tra District has been put into use

Work started on the house on December 30, 2022. Covering a total area of 749m²,the 2-storey work has total investment cost of nearly VND20 billion.

This is a space to display and preserve the traditional cultural values of Son Tra District, create a new tourist destination in the locality, meet the cultural and spiritual needs of local people, and promote the tourism image of Son Tra District to domestic and foreign tourists.
