The 2024 Vietnamese Tet Festival was officially opened on the Thang Long food street in Khue Trung Ward, Cam Le District, Da Nang, on Friday evening.

Taking place from February 1 - 3, the first-ever event in Khue Trung Ward features many unique spaces, including Vietnamese Tet, typical product display, shopping, culinary and calligraphy writing spaces.

In addition, there are many meaningful and attractive activities such as a ‘ao dai’ fashion show themed ‘Spring Colours’, ‘bai choi’ performances, musical programmes, old Tet market, and a programme to cook and present ‘banh chung’ to needy people as Tet gifts.

Festival-goers also have the opportunity to participate in many folk games and competitions, including OCOP product competition with Tet flavours, and Chinese chess competition.

The 3-day event aims to promote the image of Khue Trung Ward, recreating the traditional cultural space of the nation, meeting the people's needs for entertainment and spiritual cultural enjoyment, and attracting more tourists to the locality.
