DIFF 2024 scheduled to take place from June 8 - July 13
The Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2024, which has ‘Made in Unity’ as its theme, is slated to take place from June 8 - July 13.

Accordingly, Sun Group and the Times Communications and Trading JSC are enterprises accompanying the municipal People's Committee in organizing DIFF 2024. The Global 2000 International Company is a consultant for fireworks displays.
The Han River port site will be the main location of the fireworks displays with a main stage and viewers' stands along sidewalk of Tran Hung Dao Street opposite the port.
A series of side events are expected to be held across the city, including along both banks of the Han River and main streets, and festive stages.
This year’s festival is expected to have 8 participating teams, including 7 international teams from France, Italy, the USA, Germany, Poland, China and Finland, and the Da Nang-Viet Nam team.
Thus, the festival will see the participation of three new teams: the USA, Germany, and China. The participating teams will compete in five competition nights, including 4 qualifying nights and a final night.
The festival will officially kick off on the evening of June 8 with the opening performances between Team Da Nang-Viet Nam and Team France with the theme ‘Made of Unique Culture’.
The second night on the evening of June 15 will see a competition between Italy and the US with the theme ‘Made of Natural Wisdom’.
The third night under the theme ‘Made of Love Inspiration’ will take place on the evening of June 22 with the participation of Germany and Poland.
The fourth night on the evening of June 29 will be a competition between China and Finland under the theme ‘Made of Fairy Tales’.
The grand finale will take place on the evening of July 13 with the theme ‘Made of Young Generation’.
Each team will have 20-22 minutes to show off their performance based on each night's theme.
The champion team will receive a cash prize of US$20,000, trophy and a certificate. The first runner-up team will take US$10,000 in cash, trophy and a certificate. The most favorite team voted by the audience will be given a cash prize of US$5,000 and a certificate.
Performances will be judged based on the concept, theme, uniqueness and quality of the performances; the variety of colours; the scale and number of effects; and the synchronisation and match between fireworks sounds and images.
