Music shows celebrate Liberation Day of Da Nang
An art programme entitled ‘Melodies of March’ took place at a public park on the west bank of Da Nang’s Dragon Bridge on Friday evening.

Co-organized by the city’s Music Association, the municipal Youth Union, the Cultural and Cinema Center and the Children's Cultural Palace, the event aimed to celebrate the 49th anniversary of the Liberation Day of Da Nang (March 29, 1975 - March 29, 2024).
The programme featured a total of 15 music and dance performances with the participation of many singers, actors and children in the city. Among them, there were many new compositions about the city such as ‘Da Nang - the beloved coastal city’, ‘Han river sunshine’, ‘Singing about the beloved city’, and ‘Da Nang in my heart’.
The performances were carefully invested and choreographed, creating a joyful atmosphere and receiving enthusiastic responses from the audience. The music night was considered as a bridge connecting music lovers in the city, thereby contributing to spreading the city's image to tourists through musical products.
Also on the same evening, the city-based Trung Vuong Theater coordinated with the Hai Chau District Cultural and Sports Center to organize an art programme with the theme "March of Joy" at the city’s APEC Sculpture Park.
It had two parts: "Dear Da Nang" and "Happy music", with 18 art performances in total honouring the indomitable fighting spirit and resilient will of our army and people, and praising the outstanding development in the urban appearance of the city.
