A talk show entitled ‘Promoting ethnic folk dance in the trend of cultural tourism in Da Nang’ was held in the city on Saturday by the municipal Dance Artists’ Association, attracting the participation of many dance artists from Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh City.

During the event, participating dance artists discussed many issues related to the potential of exploiting folk dance to serve cultural tourism, the role of dance art in Da Nang cultural tourism, and the development of ethnic folk dance programmes to serve Da Nang tourism based on the application of science and technology.

In addition, they proposed many ideas on a broader scale, especially ways to preserve the traditional folk dance art of the nation to serve tourism development in Quang Nam - Da Nang, and to promote the strength of Dance Artists’ Associations in big cities.

On this occasion, the Da Nang Dance Artists’ Association signed a performance cooperation agreement with the Dance Artists’ Associations in Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh City.
