The finale of the modern dance competition ‘The Ultimate Flashmob Showdown 2024’ themed ‘Dreams, Youthful Years and Youth’ took place on Friday evening.

The event was jointly organised by the municipal Youth Union, the Youth Association and the Greenwich Da Nang University.

Its purpose was to create a playground for the youth in the city to interact, entertain, show off their talents, and contribute to forming a positive lifestyle. At the same time, it created a vibrant atmosphere along the banks of the Han River to attract more locals and tourists.

Previously, the preliminary rounds were organised in late March with the participation of 27 teams from senior high schools, continuing education centres, and vocational education establishments across the city. The top 10 outstanding performances were selected for the final round.

All the competition performances were elaborately choreographed with modern music, bringing exciting performances to serve the entertainment needs of visitors.

The organisers presented a First, a Second, two Third and 23 Consolation prizes to outstanding performances. In addition, there were also "Tiktok Challenge" and best “Cheerleading” awards.

Deputy Secretary of the municipal Youth Union cum Chairman of the local Youth Association Nguyen Ba Duan said that the competition aimed to enhance cultural and artistic exchange activities among young people, as well as boost the art movement along both banks of the Han River during the peak tourist season to attract more tourists to the city.
