The awards ceremony for a photo contest featuring the beauty of Avalokiteśvara Festival took place at Da Nang’s APEC Sculpture Park on Saturday.

Photographer Dang Minh Tu wins the first prize for his photo set of the 2024 Avalokiteśvara Festival.

The contest was open to members of the Da Nang Photography Club. It received a combined total of more than 200 photos from nearly 50 photographers.

The contest’s organisers selected and awarded a First, a Second, a Third and 5 Consolation prizes to the best artworks.

In addition, AI (Artificial Intelligence) experts met and shared with photography lovers in Da Nang about "Commercial photography in the era of AI". During the event, speakers introduced the basic process and how to use AI to create custom-made images and shared the open source AI application ComfyUI in commercial photography.

The meeting provided an opportunity for photography lovers to develop their careers, as well as know how to apply technology to create, and optimize creative and commercial work in the field of photography.
