The Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2024, which is slated to take place from June 8 - July 13, promises a host of surprises for the audience.

Themed ‘Made in Unity’, this year’s festival is expected to have 8 participating teams, namely France, Italy, the USA, Germany, Poland, China, Finland, and the Da Nang-Viet Nam team.

According to the festival’s organisers, the theme conveys the message of a world of peace, friendship and humanity, as well as honours values that inspire the community.

According to Mr. Huynh Nam Thang, Deputy General Director of Sun Group in the Central Region, DIFF has become a typical brand of the city. The company wishes to accompany the event to contribute to enhancing the city’s brand of 'Asia's Leading Festival and Event Destination’.

He remarked that Sun Group was always aware of the responsibility and pioneering role of a business during the development of the city. Therefore, following the success of previous DIFF seasons, DIFF 2024 promises to bring many new features that will meet the expectations of people and tourists.

Mr. Huynh Nam Thang hoped that DIFF 2024 will be a new festival, contributing to luring more tourists, and creating a new milestone for Da Nang tourism in summer 2024.

It is known that DIFF 2024 grandstands are expected to be larger in scale than last year’s and the fireworks displays will use many effects to bring viewers eye-catching performances.

Notably, DIFF 2024 with newcomers of Germany, China and the US promises to bring the audience many surprises.

Moreover, the opening scenario of DIFF 2024 is expected to feature a jetski-flyboard-art-performance by Australian manufacturer H2O. This will be the highlight that makes DIFF 2024 different from previous seasons.

Along with fireworks, domestic and international visitors to Da Nang will have many unique experiences with a series of large-scale varied, captivating side events.

Deputy Director of the Hai Van Cat International Travel Company Nguyen Ngoc Thien said that DIFF is considered an outstanding and typical event of Da Nang every summer. With the participation of fireworks teams from different countries around the world, each performance night will be unique and inviting. Therefore, the city-based tourism businesses have been developing new and attractive products associated with DIFF 2024.

According to Vice Chairman of the municipal People's Committee Tran Chi Cuong, the city has directed relevant units to focus on investing and renewing tourism services to bring different experience to tourists.

For instance, the city has also asked the organisers to find new technologies to apply to the performances of the participating teams at DIFF 2024, thereby increasing the attractiveness of the destination. At that time, visitors coming or returning to Da Nang will not only enjoy spectacular fireworks shows but also experience new and more attractive accompanying products.
