59 children's paintings about summer in Da Nang on display until June 30
The Da Nang Fine Arts Museum, on Friday, held an awards ceremony for the 2024 children's drawing contest themed "Da Nang Summer Colours" to celebrate the International Museum Day (May 18) and the International Children's Day (June 1).

The contest took place on May 15, attracting 62 pupils from primary and junior high schools across the city.
All entries featured diverse materials and rich content about the beauty of nature, people, landscapes, historical relics, and entertainment activities during the summer in Da Nang. They all reflected children's dreams and wishes for a vibrant and bustling summer.
As a result, the Da Nang Fine Arts Museum gave 2 first, 4 second, 6 third and 10 consolation prizes to outstanding fine arts works at primary and junior high school levels.
In particular, the first prize at the primary school level went to Cao Le Hai Yen from the Thanh Khe District-based Huynh Ngoc Hue Primary School for her painting "Let’s visit Da Nang to experience summer".
Meanwhile, the first prize at the junior high school level was awarded to the work "The colours of Da Nang" by Tran Thi Minh Tinh from the Nguyen Binh Khiem Junior High School based in Ngu Hanh Son District.
At the same time, 59 high-quality paintings were selected to display at the exhibition "Da Nang Summer Colours" until June 30.
