The main stage of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2024 is designed majestically by using modern technology, expected to bring more attractive artistic performances to the audience.

Specifically, this year’s DIFF stage area is about 1,260 m², 20% larger than the previous year’s, creating a performance space with a majestic scale.

Located on the east bank of the Han River - the riverside campus on Tran Hung Dao Street, with a convenient location, the DIFF 2024 stage is expected to make a strong impression on the audience.

To create sharper visual effects, the stage has been improved in technology and effects. The LED screen upgraded with large projection size and see-through mesh technology creates special lighting effects, connecting diverse performance spaces with the audience. The quality of floor LED systems will be upgraded, bringing wider viewing angles and increasing audience access and experience.

The construction of the fireworks stage requires high precision due to the special structure with one part reaching out to the river and one part being placed on the shore. The construction team carefully creates a hydraulic lowering system, specially manufactured with an automated structure to ensure the most perfect stage quality.

The dome system that raises and lowers the background of the DIFF 2024 main stage has also been improved with a lower lowering angle, to optimise the audience's viewing angle. Compared to 2023, the viewing angle from the riverbank has been significantly enhanced from 190m to 100m, creating more favourable conditions for audiences to admire pyrotechnic performances on stage.

The most prominent highlight of this year's DIFF is the large raised table system in the middle of the stage combined with the lighting system to create a unique and multi-dimensional performance space used in the final night.

The main stage’s lighting system is upgraded with modern lighting technology, which can be flexibly raised and lowered to provide the most beautiful views of the entire fireworks display area.

In addition, the DIFF 2024 stage also integrates majestic water music, combined with the sparkling Han River, creating a special visual effect for the audience.

This year marks the 12^th anniversary of the presence of DIFF in the city. Themed "Made in Unity - Global Connection - Radiant five continents", DIFF 2024 aims to convey the message of a peaceful world, friendship and humanity, as well as honour values that inspire the community.

Inspired by the powerful and profound image of "hands", the main stage of DIFF 2024 is designed not only as a place for artistic performances but also as a living symbol of solidarity, unity and creativity as the message that the festival is aiming for.

The image of hands reaching out and holding each other shows the spirit of solidarity and unity, and is also a symbol of consensus, preservation and protection of each other. This physical connection symbolizes the deep relationships between people, which is the key to building a happy and sustainable community.

According to plan, DIFF 2024 will kick off on the evening of June 8 at 8:10 pm with the performances by the Da Nang - Viet Nam home team and Team France - the defending champion of DIFF 2023. The performances will be broadcast live on VTV1 channel.
