Art exhibition on street vendors in Da Nang

“Rong - Rao” (Street Vendors and Their Cries) which are a unique feature of the street culture in Da Nang is the theme of an art exhibition which is opening at 186 Phan Chau Trinh Street, Hai Chau District, from August 17 - September 8.

Hosted by the “Da Nang Tui” (My Da Nang) group, the event features more than 30 artworks, 10 art forms and 4 new interactive experiences. It provides visitors with the opportunity to "feast their eyes" on 3D Mapping street food, so they can touch, swipe and rotate to create works of art in multidimensional space; and participate in other simulation activities.

Not only bringing a multi-sensory experience, the intersection between art and technology is the focus of the stories in the exhibition.

In addition, on the evenings of August 24, August 31 and September 7, there will also be a fashion show called “Rong - Rao” with the highlight being the performances of models dressed in home wear, red baskets, and plastic sandals.

The “Da Nang Tui” group was established in 2017. Members of the group are young people who love culture and art and are living and studying in the city.

“Rong - Rao” is the group’s 4th cultural and artistic exhibition. The group’s 3 previous exhibitions called “Da Nang Tui”, “Nghe” and “Lenh Denh”, attracting a large number of young people.
